[DRUG NAME]Generic name: Fleroxacin Dispersible Tablets

[DESCRIPTION] white tablets.

[INGREDIENTS]The main compositioni is fleroxacin, whose chemical name is: 6, 8-difluoro-1-(2-fluoroethyl)-1, 4-dihydro-7-(4-methyl-piperazin-1-yl)-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid

[INDICATIONS]Fleroxacin is indicated for the treatment of the following infections caused by sensitive bacterias: Respiratory tract infections including acute bronchitis, acute episode of chronic bronchitis and Pneumonia; Genital and urinary tract infections including urocystitis, pyelonephritis, prostatitis, epididymitis, urethritis caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae; Gastrointestinal infections including infection by salmonella typhi, bacillary dysentery; Skin and soft tissue infections; Bone infections; Abdominal and pelvic infections.

[DOSAGE AND ADIMINISTRATION]To be taken orally or after dispersing in 100ml water. The usual dosage for adults: 0.2~0.4g(2~4)tablets once or twice daily. 7-14 days in a usual course of therapy.

[ADVERSE REACTIONS]
1. Gastrointestinal tract reactions have been observed relatively frequently, including abdominal discomfort and pain, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, and anepithymia.
2. There have been reports on adverse reactions in central nervous system such as dizziness, headache, excitement, drowsiness or insomnia.
3. Allergic reactions include efflores cence, itch in skin, and erythema exudativum multiforme, acute essential edema; Photosensitivity was seldom reported.
4. In some patients aminopherase and blood urea nitrogen were increased, which was mostly gentle and can recover after drug withdraw.
5. Occasional side effects: : 1)epileptic attack, mental anomaly, dysphoria, clouding of consciousness, illusion and trembling; (2)the manifestation of interstitial nephritis like cruenturesis, fever, efflorescence; (3)crystalluria has been usually noted when high dose has been applied; (4)joint pain and stomache.

[CONTRAINDICTIONS]1. Hypersensitivity to fleroxacin and other Quinolones.
2. Women in pregnancy and lactation, and children younger than 18 years old.
